CASE Study Challenge #75

Hello!  It's a new week and I am glad I did not miss the opportunity to enter the Case Study Challenge #75 with January Muse Jen Rzasa.  I do love her Clean and Simple Style!

Here is Jen's inspiration card:

and here is what she inspired me to make:

Both Jen and I chose sentiments from Papertrey Ink's Think Big Favorites, mine is TBF#11.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and went over it with a Sakura Glaze pen.  The Hearts Border was cut three times, from Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet, and Hibiscus Burst card stocks and attached with 1/8" Scor-tape.  The mat layer is Smokey Shadow, the card base and top layer are Stamper's Select White, all from PTI.  The mat layer is adhered with dimensional foam.

So that's the short and sweet for this Valentine card.  Thanks Jen for the inspiration!

I invite your comments, or even better I invite you to join me in this challenge-just post it before midnight tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by,
Suzanne

  9. Wow - counter-intuitive, but it is so difficult to create a stunning card when you don't use a lot of elements. You nailed it! So glad I joined your blog a couple days ago : )
