Hi Friends! I am bringing up the rear again-just glad I didn't miss the deadline for this week's challenge. I've done that a LOT lately.
The occasion for this card is a sad one. My cousin has recently died of cancer and I could not travel to be with the rest of my family for the funeral. It was important to me to send something of myself. Something that would speak of the beauty I saw in my cousin and friend. The very simple design, just a touch of sparkle, and the silver embossed sentiment seemed to be just the right expression to me. I felt better after making it.
Card Stock: White
Inks: Ocean Tides, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist
Stamp Sets: Watercolor Wonder, Hero Arts CL342 (sentiment)
Other: Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter, Silver Embossing Powder, Corner Rounder
Thanks for stopping by,
Suzanne
