It was a very busy Holiday season which I enjoyed very much. Time with our family, in-laws, and the incredibly rare white Christmas, made for a very memorable time. The punctuation mark came Christmas night when the power went out and trees started falling under the weight of ice plus 8" of snow. We were among the fortunate with a power outage lasting only about 22 hours. Others in our area were out for days. But that was last year....
Now, I am looking forward to a new year of fresh ideas and many new card projects. Here are a couple I made for the current Make it Monday challenge, "Repeats and Rainbows". You can find all of the details on Nichole's blog.
I chose rainbow color scheme #4 for both cards: Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Blueberry Sky, and Winter Wisteria.
Happy New Year, Y'all!

Suzanne

ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are so FUN! I really like the hearts. Congrats on your fabulous, exciting news.
Yay, she's back! And how crazy is it that you had 8" of snow and we haven't even broken an inch yet here in Chicago. Love your cards, Suzanne! Those overlapping hearts are so fun, and I'm digging your purple background. I never seem to use that color, but I really like it here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards - love seeing two very different cards from the same color scheme!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that rainbow stripe card! The hearts around the tag with twine are adorable. Very sweet. ;-)
